On May 18, from 10 am to 12:30 pm, the US Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the Administration for Community Living, and the National Coalition on Mental Health and Aging, are sponsoring the first National Older Adult Mental Health Awareness Day. A panel of experts will discuss evidence-based approaches to mental health and substance use prevention, treatment, and recovery supports for older adults, and encourage collaboration between the mental health and aging networks.

The event will be live webcast, and registration is required (https://www.eiseverywhere.com/ehome/noamhad/home).
